Our Philosophy

This course is offered to students who have a personal connection with the Spanish language and with Latino Cultures. This personal connection it is usually established through the knowledge of Spanish through the family, growing up in communities where Spanish is used in public spaces (school, stores, church, clinics). In general, students placed in this class speak US Spanish. They have been born in the US or came at an early age having attended educational institutions in Spanish-speaking countries.
